Who We Serve

Thrive Family Support is dedicated to eliminating barriers in access to support from a qualified professional for families. Our classes are open to everyone regardless of whether or not your child has a diagnosis or your ability to pay course fees. Learn more below about who can benefit from our courses.

No Diagnosis Required

If you have any concerns about your child's behavior or development, now is the perfect time to take our courses. The time between when a family member first has a concern about their child's development and when they are able to access a diagnostic evaluation is one year on average. Once a diagnosis is obtained, access to therapy services can range from 6 to 24 months. Intervention is most effective when it begins before the age of 4, but long delays for evaluations and waitlists for therapy services can cause families to miss this crucial window. The content in our courses allows families to take the first step in beginning intervention for their child regardless of where they are in the evaluation and diagnostic process.

Who Can Benefit?

The content covered in our courses and webinars will be beneficial for families of children with a wide array of developmental and behavioral concerns, diagnoses, and skill levels. We welcome parents, grandparents, family members, professionals, foster families, and allies in the community to join our programs. Any family seeking to gain knowledge and skills to support their child's development and behavior is welcome. Our programs also address the following concerns and diagnoses:

Concerns:

  • Harmful, Destructive Behavior

  • Distressed Behavior

  • Slow Progress on Developmental Milestones

  • Delays in Communication & Language

  • Emotion Regulation

No Required Fees to Attend

Our mission to close the gap in access to quality care includes eliminating financial barriers to attend programs. Therapy programs can cost families thousands of dollars per year when paying out-of-pocket, and even families with insurance coverage face high deductibles and co-pays. We ensure every family is able to participate in our program regardless of their financial resources by maintaining very low fees to attend our programs and using a voluntary fee model in which families are able to attend our courses and webinars regardless of whether or not they are able to pay the fee.
